Sometimes there are really magical things happening in life. Bit by bit one little thing leads to other, and you end up facing something significant and beautiful. Something helping you to realize important things, so simple you’ve missed them.
Once I was inspired by a girl who made a short movie called “Procastinator”. The movie was charming and profound, even though every single person involved in its production was a hobbyist. Roxana, the girl who came up with the idea told me an interesting and simple thing: “I always wanted to make the movies, but never did. And then I realized that to make this dream real I HAVE TO TRY. That’s it. Bit by bit I was thinking about main idea, found enthusiasts to help me with the movie and finally – we’ve made it!”.
I loved that! What a simple wisdom!
So here is my beginning. I’ve always wanted to discover and describe new places and activities in Jyväskylä. I wanted to tell people what’s a foreigner life in this country. What’s great and what’s difficult. So here I am, telling the world with a friend of mine about this plan becoming real thing. We are starting our YouTube channel!
We are Finland Inspired Narratives (FIN) and we’ll tell you curious things. So sit back, relax, watch our video, subscribe and… STAY TUNED!
I haven’t been posting to my blog for a really while.
Health problems, mood swings and work at the Uni took away all my energy. But I want to say enough!
I want to tell what’s new in my life and show the pictures I’m taking. I want to get better body, and find some time to learn Finnish. So I will start all of it today. 1st of March, why not?
So here is my promise-list to myself for this month. I promise:
- To publish new photos at my blog at least every week;
- Too finish my first article;
- To do sports at least 3 times per week;
- To learn Finnish at least 3 times per week;
- To eat not more than 1400 kkal per day;
- To keep track of weight and body parameters;
- To make at least 2 romantic dinners with my hubby.
Let’s see what will happen! I know I can make it! =)
Anyways, spring is here! And how are you guys doing?
It’s been REALLY a while since the last post in this blog.
Well, my crazy life just couldn’t let me do all the things I want, so I had to skip blogging for a while. But just to let you know, I’m doing great! First of all, I had an operation and it well great. The problem tissue was deleted and now I’m having half a year of hormonal therapy to cure the problem totally.
Second, I finally have got a paid position at the faculty! Yay! Now it will be easier to do research, without thinking should I find a job. And research will be my job! It’s just like a dream! =)
Next Friday I will introduce our group to a group of freshman students, so if I will do it good we will probably have new group members.
I hope you all head a great summer, and let’s have a great Fall!
P.S. In Russia 1st of September is a knowledge day. So happy knowledge day!
Do you know how I’ve spend my Sunday?
Playing Magic The Gathering! XD
I’ll tell you more in new post, I promise. By now I feel just like this dude! XDDD
3 weeks ago it was so snowy in Jyvaskyla. Christmas was in the air, but then….
Snow melted and temperature set in plus so it was rainy and windy everyday. Even in this weather there is some beauty.
But I want snow sooooo much!It’s New Year soon. So let it snow!
